Clothing Swap

Girls, how many of you have too many shoes or dresses??? This is your chance to get rid of some of them, maybe make a little money and at the same time doing your part to help others in need and that barely have any food to eat and would dream to have luxuries such as clothing and shoes.

1. Plan a day or night in with you’re friends, get them to bring in any items they don’t use anymore and put a price on them, preferably $1 to $5. They might be old to you but to your friends they might just be exactly what they are after.

2. Sell these items to your friends and once the night is over and you have collected the money you can either chose to keep a percentage of the funds and donate the rest or if your feeling super generous, you can decide to donate all funds to LocalAid.

What better way to fundraise then to have a little fun with your friends and maybe even take home that dress that you have always loved on your friend.

Give it up

Give up something (like eating out, coffee, cigarettes, going out) for a week and all the money you save you can donate.

Think about the health benefits of quitting smoking or cutting down on coffee. There are many things we you can give up, just think of the lives of the many less fortunate in the world that don’t have half of things we are lucky to be born with. Why not give up something TODAY and help LocalAid help others.
