Thanks to a local Good Samaritan, Mr. Kiokor Sospeter, who generously donated a one-acre plot on behalf of our street boy project we are now building a new permanent home for our 31 boys. We have been extremely lucky to work collaboratively with Lions Club Peponi in Kenya who have funded the first phase of the construction, which includes; three sleeping rooms, toilets and the kitchen. The members of the club have been steadfast in ensuring the construction is build to the best of standards and that we have a dedicated contractor and professional labourers on site delivering their best services.
Our new plot will allow us to establish many facilities and income generating projects in the future such as vocational skills workshops, greenhouses, chicken farm and many other agricultural projects. This will help us create stability and sustainability within our overall project which in turn will allow us to reach out and give more needy street children opportunities of a better life.
